The only way to make a world suited for good people, is if good people make a stand.
V for Vendetta. I have one. Not against the laws, or those enforcing it, or even the government. I have a vendetta against those who think their actions don't affect more then those they themselves directly affect. We have laws, because there are those of us who have lost the will to be a morally bound being. Those of us who no longer can find the reasons to live peacefully, make life a more restricted place for everyone. I blame everyone, including myself, for not taking action. For not seeing the obviousness of the truth. Had good people, taken a stand long ago, this world would not be such a sorry place. Every thing from our crime rate, to our economic situation, were predicted and have come to pass, because people chose to do nothing. Are we even good people, if we see it coming, and do nothing? We are then cowards. Life by default is an evil place. If you wan't something more, your going to fight for it. Fight for what you believe in. This is not our world, it is the world of those who take hold of it. So if you are dissatisfied with this world, then take hold of it. Take action. Stop turning a cold shoulder on the rest of the world, because in the end, your turning your back on yourself. Give a helping hand, or die trying, because anyone else is a coward whom lacks the faith to make this world a better place.
We are the world, and what we do is the world. Make the world a better place, by being a better person.

Time does not exist; clocks do.
Time does not move; we do.
Time does not care; we should.
Life is what you make it.
-----------------------
Life is not fair, because we are not fair.
-----------------------
All life requires,
is the will to act.
Fear is all that holds us back.
-----------------------
Do not view life as right and wrong, but rather, different perspectives of the same idea.
It is why we do what we do that means the most, not what, or how.
-----------------------
Who are we?
That question, is the golden question. The one thing no one can ever be completely sure about. Some of us have an idea, but they are based upon things that may change. Many people live their entire lives without a purpose or reason. They try to avoid the fact that they crave such a thing. The bare thought of going all this way and not knowing where they are going, or that the way they are going is not really what they want, tears at their mind so greatly that they must deny that such a thing exists. Purpose does exist. It is not just some thing that people wonder about as they begin to see the world, and what they are in it. Your purpose is a question; It’s a meaning; A goal. When you walk you see what is happening in front of you. It acts as a buffer to save you from harm. In life there is no buffer. No eyes to save you. Where you blindly walk is of your own accord. What goes on around you is hardly under your control. All we can see is what has already happened. We attempt to judge where we going by where we have been. In all reality if we were given our purpose, would that not be our destined future? Would that not take from us free will? In all reality this blindness is the only way to grant ourselves free will. Free will is our own chance to try the waters. Free will is our own chance for us to choose what we do with our life. So then free will is the choice to be blind to our purpose. Free will is our chance to make our own purpose. Free will comes at the price of being hurt. Because we only have our imaginations, and the knowledge of others to guide us through life, we will fall and stumble.
So, would you rather run blindly in the dark, or would you rather walk through life with out the thrill?

There is a prison.
It has no walls, nor any doors.
It has no locks, nor any keys.
There is only one prisoner, who is not a prisoner at all.
Only a man who thinks he is is a prisoner, but infact he is a freeman.
If he would but look up and see the truth.
Fear holds him down so easily, but he has chosen to be fearful.
Would he look up to see the truth, the world would unveil itself to him.
If he would just choose to be free, he would realize, he already is.
-----------------------
See the truth.
Let it hurt you.
Do not close your heart to it.
Every pain is a new lesson we must learn.
This world is quite different,
then you imagined.
All your life,
what you thought was life,
was merely a view of it,
in the lens of fear.
Take back your life, and let go of your fear.
Be who you are. Free your mind.

What tomorrow may become does not matter.
What occurs today is supreme.
What occured yesterday is written in stone.
This moment now, is all the exists.
Before and after are figments of our imagination.
-----------------------
Everything is connected.
Everything you do,
affects everyone,
everywhere,
all the time.
Be aware of the consequences.

Act now, or forever be doomed to wonder of what could have been.

I am the choices I make.

What do we do with our life? Whether we're rich, or poor; does it really matter? Is the goal of life to be happy? I kind of thought we were supposed to serve each other, but in doing so your helping yourself to fulfillment and a different kind of happiness; so you are still just a selfish jerk either way. Perhaps were all doing things for the wrong reasons? Maybe seeking “fun” and “happiness”, for yourself or others, is not the goal. Perhaps it is a byproduct of deeds done, or moments experienced. Is happiness something imagined as we remember what happened? It always seems the moment is far less than the memory makes it. Why do we pretend to enjoy every moment of the past as if it was incredible? Maybe it is to cause someone else to be jealous of our life so we feel better about our sad pathetic life that is just as sad and pathetic as theirs? What sort of sick bullying do we put upon each other? Perhaps there are other demented evils we do to each that we never truly realize. What if, we are not meant to know everything? You may notice how many questions I ask. This in itself poses another question: why do we need to know anything? Is it to create a defense against danger? What really defines everything? I mean it is possible to drive a car without knowing how the delicate pieces of the engine fit together. It is possible to breathe without understanding how the lungs work. Why then do we seek to know everything, when we do not have to? Why do we over complicate the simplest things, such as happiness? Are we trying to find some “science” to living life? There are no rules! There are a few guidelines, and examples of others who seemed to live a “happy” life, but what truly do we know of their happiness? In all probability they were just as unpleasant in their life as you in yours.
I say “happiness” is a choice. It is a perspective. Regardless of how selfish it may be, or how it is attained, happiness is simply choosing to feel a certain way about something. This of course brings up an odd paradox: “Simply choosing to feel.” Not too many people realize it either. Some of us just “do what we feel like.” Say for example a married couple decides to have children. Nothing wrong with that, but they did what they “felt like doing.” Feelings should not be classified. Happiness is a word. That’s all. It has a relative meaning, which we all have an idea about. Feelings are our sixth sense. It is all just information for the brain to process. Sometimes you can look at something and not understand it. Or you can hear something and not know what it was. We can “see” happiness and not understand it. We can “hear” about happiness and not realize its potential. For some people happiness is progress. If today is better than yesterday, then we are happy. Or for others it is getting what you want, regardless of that being selfish or not. Whether you want a Snickers bar, or you would like to help old folks, it is a path to a feeling. It is the feeling we crave. Jesus was right when he said: “Man cannot live on bread alone.” Feelings are food for our brain. Without them we become something else. Just like a starving person would do almost anything for food, we will do anything to feel. What we fail to realize though is, that it is not the act or event or deed that brings about the happiness; it is simply a choice. You can go to an amusement park and hate the whole experience. You can go on a cruise, and get mad you got sunburn. Or you could say to yourself, what is the real reason I am unhappy? Perhaps you had a plan that did not happen. Or maybe you had expectations that were not met. Or somebody died that was close to you. I ask you, why did you try to predict the future and get mad about it? Did no one tell you that we are unable to see the future?
I say go with the flow. Make the best of what you have. If people in third world countries can be happy to be given a nice meal for once, why the hell can we not be happy about eating fast food for lunch? The truth is: We do not want to be happy. We want things to be better, and that makes us happy. Some day though, we will hit the top of the “better” ladder. Whether you simply got too old and had to retire before you got that promotion, or you simply never got to visit the Eiffel tower, you expected something to happen, that did not. You wanted something to happen that could not. You wanted more than life had to offer instead of being thankful for what life has already given you. Some of us forget all that we have been given. This life is an opportunity, but we waste it so easily on “wanting more.” We have children that are wonderful, we have jobs that others are envious of, and yet we are not satisfied. Satisfaction has nothing to do with how much you attain. Satisfaction has nothing to do with you. The sooner we all realize we are not alive simply to continue our own existence, the sooner we can get started being happy. I would like to say: “Do something for someone else because you know they will be happy for it”, but often enough this is not a broad enough definition to fit the various situations life may project on us. Instead I say: Live your life in love with everyone you see. Die for any of them, for any reason. Commit your time to them. They are not anonymous, nor are you. They are best friends waiting to be lived beside, and lovers waiting to be loved.
If you want something, perhaps instead you should give something. Be selfless. Expect nothing, so that life is always a surprise. Appreciate what you have. Go out of your way to help people who do not deserve it, because God knows there will be days when you could use the same in return. See the world from the perspective of everyone else. If you are not happy, it is because either you have not yet chosen to be, or those around you have chosen not to be. Choose, because choosing is the point of life. Be the light that brightens the room. Saying something twice does not make you look stupid because words are only symbols, and symbols can be misunderstood and misinterpreted.

If your perspective on life is not changing, you are not moving.

Be careful to spend your time right, because there is only a little left.
